Work Duties and Compensation

Cashier Responsibilities

Accurately taking and packing orders, including in-store, phone, and delivery orders. Introducing and recommending products and services to customers.
Providing high-quality customer service.
Responding to and addressing customer service inquiries and complaints, and escalating them when necessary.
Adding toppings to beverages as required.
Checking and managing the stocking of products.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
Organizing and restocking utensils, including straws, cups, and forks.
Arranging and transporting goods to their proper locations.
Opening and closing the store.
Training to assist shaker with the preparation of drink bases as part of future development.

Salary Information (June 1, 2025)

Payroll Period: Bi-weekly

General employees are only required to complete training for one primary position with Level 2 proficiency.

Full-Time Base Hourly Rates (5 shifts/week):

Level 1 – Entry Stage of Training: $17.85/hour
Level 2 – Intermediate Stage: $18.30/hour
Level 3 – Advanced Stage: $19.30/hour
Second Position (also achieved Level 3): $20.30/hour
Shift Leader: $23.20/hour
Store Manager: $25 + commission
Night Shift Bonus: +$1.00/hour

The above are base wages only and do not include additional benefits, tips, or performance-based bonuses. Salaries are reviewed and adjusted periodically based on performance, responsibilities, and business needs.

Benefits Information (June 1, 2025)

Tips Period: Every Four Weeks

General Crew: 100%
Team Leader: 150%

Tips Information: Based on the data from October 16th 2023 to November 12th 2023, for induvial full-time evening shifts working two positions plus a weekend bonus, the tips amount for employee: $204.65 + $60=$264.65*

*Please note that the above sample tip amounts may vary; actual amounts should be considered.

Benefits for Team Leaders:

Team Leader Equity Conditions: Team leaders can participate in equity when fully staffed and able to resolve staffing issues.
Team Leaders: Opportunities to collaborate on other projects with the company.

General Employee Benefits:

Free Drinks: One drink per shift (including dessert cups; Mega cups excluded). For on-shift employee use only—non-transferable. May be taken home after shift.
Unpaid Breaks: 15-minute unpaid break per shift (required for shifts over 4 hours). Break time scheduled by the team leader based on workload.
Discount: 20% off in-store purchases for employee only; 10% off when friends visit in-store with the employee present.
Holiday Pay (Statutory Holiday Pay):
- Up to ~11 additional paid days per year.
- If working on a holiday: Earn approximately 2.5x pay (base 1x + 1.5x for hours worked).
- If not working on a holiday: Receive 1x pay calculated as 7.5 hours.
Paid Vacation Pay: Equivalent to 10 paid days per year for full-time employees, issued during approved vacation or upon resignation.

Performance & Special Bonuses

Emergency Shift Coverage Bonus: $30 bonus per shift awarded to any employee who fills in for an absent team member when the original person cannot find a replacement.
Google Maps 5-Star Review Bonus (Cashier Only):
- +$3 in tips per 5-star review.
- +$3 company bonus per 5-star service-related review.
- Maximum of 20 reviews counted every two weeks.
- If the cashier is also a Team Leader, they receive the same bonuses.
Peak Hour Bonus: Additional bonus provided during high-volume periods. (Refer to internal documents for exact calculation.)
