Work Duties and Compensation

Cashier Responsibilities

Accurately taking and packing orders, including in-store, phone, and delivery orders. Introducing and recommending products and services to customers.
Providing high-quality customer service.
Responding to and addressing customer service inquiries and complaints, and escalating them when necessary.
Adding toppings to beverages as required.
Checking and managing the stocking of products.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
Organizing and restocking utensils, including straws, cups, and forks.
Arranging and transporting goods to their proper locations.
Opening and closing the store.
Training to assist shaker with the preparation of drink bases as part of future development.

Salary Information (June 1, 2024)

Payroll Period: Bi-weekly

Employees are only required to complete ONE position training. Salaries are subject to periodic updates and adjustments.

Full-Time Positions (5 days a week with 6 days availability):
- Training/Adjustment Period
  - Morning Shift: $17.4
  - Evening Shift: $17.4
- Unit Position in Shaker OR Kitchen
  - Morning Shift: $18
  - Evening Shift: $19
  - Outstanding Performance Bonus: +$0.5/hour
- Unit Position in Cashier
  - Morning Shift: $19
  - Evening Shift: $20
  - Outstanding Performance Bonus: +$1/hour
- Special Dual Positions (Mid Shift,cover additional shifts as needed, including moving to the Day Shift or Night Shift)
  - Salary: $19.50
  - Outstanding Performance Bonus: +$0.5/hour
- Team Leader/Senior Team Leader
  - Morning Shift: $22.75
  - Evening Shift: $23.75
  - Extra reward tasks available for the Senior Team Leader, up to extra $9/hr ($1/hr for each task, total 9 tasks.)

The salaries listed above are base salaries only and do not include any additional benefits.

Tips Period: Every Four Weeks

Cashier Position: 150%
Team Leader: 150%
Mid Shift: 100%
Beverage Preparation Position: 100%
Kitchen Position: 100%
Part-Time: 50%
Trainee: 0% (Your tips will go to your trainer as thanks.)

Tips Information: Based on the data from October 16th 2023 to November 12th 2023, for indivual full-time evening shifts working two positions plus a weekend bonus, the tips amount for employee: $204.65 + $60=$264.65*

*Please note that the above sample tip amounts may vary; actual amounts should be considered.

Benefits for Team Leaders:

Standard Team Leader Health Insurance: $300 per year (usable from the second year after completing one full year of employment).
Senior Team Leader Health Insurance: $600 per year (usable from the second year after completing one full year of employment).
Team Leaders: Eligible for additional task assignments with pay increases.
Team Leader Equity Conditions: Team leaders can participate in equity when fully staffed and able to resolve staffing issues.
Team Leaders: Opportunities to collaborate on other projects with the company.

General Employee Benefits:

Free Drinks: One free drink per shift, including dessert cups but excluding Mega cups. Free drinks are for employee consumption only during shifts to relieve fatigue and cannot be shared. Drinks can be taken home after shifts.
Unpaid Breaks: 15-minute unpaid break per shift (for shifts longer than 4 hours). Break times are at the discretion of the team leader, based on the workload of the shift.
Extra Health Insurance for Team Leaders: Additional monthly accumulative health insurance subsidies.
Employee Discount: 20% discount on products purchased by employees at the store.
Friends and Family Discount: 10% discount when friends shop in the store with the employee present.
Holiday Pay: Legal holidays worked earn approximately 2.5 times the salary, non-working holidays earn standard pay (calculated as 7.5 hours for everyone, with an additional 1.5 times the salary for hours worked that day). Eligibility requires working more than 15 days in the 30 days leading up to the holiday.
Outstanding Members: Members who adhere to systems and require minimal management, and who have mastered skills receive an additional $0.5/hour. Cashier positions receive an additional $1/hour. (As team leaders are a baseline condition, this is already included in the pay adjustment.)
